Filmmaking Week
March 28 – April 4
This is where the magic happens. Filmmakers have one full week, from Saturday 11:59am on the 28th through the following Saturday night of April 4th at 11:59pm to write, shoot, and edit a powerful 5–8 minute short film created specifically for the competition.
One week. One vision. All flow.
This of course means that ALL original materials in the film such as screenplays, footage, original scores, graphics, and animations MUST be created within the span of the filmmaking week. exceptions include licensed materials such as music, sound effects, stock footage and images with the appropriate usage rights documentation provided.
The Kickoff Event
March 28 at 11am
At 11:00 am, competing storytellers and filmmakers will gather at a specific location (TBD) with your production team. We'll have some guest speakers from our partners and sponsors and we'll announce the rules of the competition. As well as, the narrative theme that you will base your film concept off of.
